Trade and Gender Group launches new edition of equality prize, consultations on future work
At a meeting of the Informal Working Group on Trade and Gender on 27 February, members welcomed the co-chairs’ initiative to begin consultations on the 2025-26 work plan and potential outcomes on gender equality in trade for the 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14). Members also agreed to launch the second edition of the International Prize on Gender Equality in Trade to recognize the most impactful gender-responsive trade policies implemented by WTO members and observer governments.
