South Africa launches safeguard investigation on corrosion-resistant steel coil

On 3 February 2025, South Africa notified the WTO’s Committee on Safeguards that it initiated on 17 January 2025 a safeguard investigation on (i) certain flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel and (ii) certain flat-rolled products of other alloy steel (see notification G/SG/N/6/ZAF/11 for full details).
