Get ready for April’s solar eclipse with these discounted glasses during Amazon’s Big Spring Sale
The next total solar eclipse is set to take place on Monday, April 8, and if you want to participate in collectively (and safely) staring at the sun together, you’re going to need a pair of solar eclipse glasses. We don’t recommend buying a pair all willy-nilly, though, because not all of them are legit, and we don’t want you burning your precious peepers.
What you need to look out for are glasses that are specifically approved by the American Astronomical Society (AAS) and have an ISO 12312-2 safety rating. Thankfully, you can find a ton of approved solar eclipse glasses on Amazon, and many of them are discounted for the Big Spring Sale. Below, we’ve listed out all the options we could find that are on sale, so check them out and grab yourself a pair or two before they start selling out (they usually become pretty scarce in the weeks before an eclipse).
And don’t worry, we’ve cross-checked all of these options with the AAS’s list of vetted sellers, so you don’t have to worry about getting scammed into buying a counterfeit pair. See you on April 8!
