Amazon adds 3 big free Prime Day video games, including ‘Suicide Squad.’ How to claim them.

Amazon Prime Day is here and that means gaming deals are coming in faster than we can count. The best part? Amazon is actually giving away a few big-name video games for free:

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

  • Chivalry 2

  • Rise of the Tomb Raider

Amazon giving away games isn’t new, as the mega-retailer has offered a bundle of free video games leading up to Prime Day through its Prime Gaming promotion since late June.

Amazon Prime subscribers will have 48 hours to claim these three games, starting July 16 at 3 a.m. ET. To claim them, arm yourself with an Amazon Prime login, take it to the Prime Gaming website, log in, and follow the on-screen instructions.

While it isn’t horribly surprising to see Rise of the Tomb Raider (which launched in 2015) or Chivalry 2 (which was recently free on Epic Games Store) on this list, Suicide Squad stands out. It’s a very recently released big-budget game with a big-name license behind it. Kill the Justice League has notably been a financial failure for Warner Bros., but to see it hit the proverbial bargain bin this soon is astonishing.

But hey, anything is worth trying for the price of free.
